The Altonn residence, made up of the Vila Altonn and the near Ciasa Altonn, offers their guests a comfortable and practical place to be, a shelter in the midst of the mountains, a starting point for discovering South Tyrol and the Ladin region and for enjoying all the experiences it has to offer.
Ciasa Altonn is special for a reason: it is a family heirloom.
The house was built in the 18th Century, forming with two other constructions “vila” Altonn. “Vila” is the typical rural formation of Val Badia made up of a few houses and barns, which gathered its inhabitants in the usage of common services like the fountain and the wood-fired oven.
The continued existence of the house until today is attributable to the particular attention of the Ladin folk to pass on old habits and lifestyles.
Ciasa Altonn has not changed over time. When it was renovated in the 1980s, the physical appearance of the house stayed untouched – indeed, the area around the house is protected by special environmental constraints. Ciasa Altonn is a symbol of tradition and love, values that are perceived by our guests.
Overlooking the Sella massive, it enjoys a privileged position on the sunny side of the Colfosco town.
Altonn is topped on one side from the Pisciadù mountains, which make themselves heard in town with their beautiful Pisciadù waterfalls. On the other side, it is protected by the Cir peak and by his brothers Ciampac and Sassongher, which overlook Colfosco like gentle giants. From Altonn you experience the mountain from close up.

In our house you will find sanitizing gel dispensers, the rooms are cleaned with new specific hygiene products and sanitized periodically with a mobile nebulizer that works with hydrogen peroxide.
